In designing the Blanchard Banking Center for Chickasha Bank & Trust, Cavin Design Group developed an interior layout to balance the combination of unique antiques and rustic furnishings provided by the owner. This partnership of materials and decor harmonized the full design of the building, giving the space character and personality.

Streaming down into the lobby was natural light exposed through skylights in the pitched roof. This natural element accentuated the sun-kissed color scheme of warm toned saltillo tile flooring and natural stained oak, located throughout the building. The selections of solid surface materials were complemented with unique plastic laminates that enhanced the millwork design. Specialized areas involving detailed design included the built-in customer service desks at each entry. These built-ins coordinated with the teller’s center and presented a consistent appearance for the interior environment.

As a whole, CDG’s design solutions incorporated the needs of the staff while offering an experience of “western” charm to its clientele. The atmosphere is relaxed and encourages occupants to share that sentiment.
