McCurtain County National Bank in Valliant is a new facility that embraces the contemporary characteristics associated with sleek and refreshing design. Cavin Design Group had the challenge of developing a plan that was sensitive to cost limitations yet provided an efficient design with luxurious appeal. CDG accomplished this plan with a well thought out material selection and decor.
CDG began with a designing the facility to feature locally provided materials to reduce cost and emphasize the relationship of the building to its surroundings. Natural materials such as stone and wood, representative of the local logging industry and area tourism history, were used throughout the design. For architectural interest, the exterior facades featured horizontal scoring on E.I.F.S. and horizontal aluminum framing to accentuate the design concept of clean lines. The variations of materials and their applications give the building visual depth and a finished appearance. The facility also offers clients the convenience of quick transactions with a five lane drive-thru, eliminating a crowded lobby area. In the interior space, the spatial layout is directed by a forty-five degree angle that influences the direction of traffic and furniture placement. Upon entry, clients are greeted by a spacious lobby that offers a teller’s area, offices, accounts section, a conference room that doubles as a break room, and a waiting area featuring a stone fireplace. Furnishings and decor are a mix of traditional and contemporary design and offer a comforting atmosphere.
In addition to being accommodating and luxurious, the new bank provides staff a work environment that is sensitive to their daily processes and needs. Functional design is integrated in the interior space while a presence of grand stature complements the exterior facades. McCurtain County National Bank in Valliant is a bank that exudes individuality and style.
