Standley Office Systems
Mr.
Elliott presented Cavin Design Group with his need for a cost effective corporate
office building to grow and develop his business. An economical solution for
Mr. Elliott was to purchase a vacant church building that was offered at an
attractive price. The idea would be to convert the church into a functional
office building that would be their corporate headquarters.
In renovation, CDG completely redesigned the interior space while maintaining
the original architecture of the building. A concept focused on forty-five degree
angles was implemented throughout the floor plan to create structured hierarchy.
Furnishings, equipment, and even floor patterns followed this concept which
improved circulation and encouraged clean open space. Material finishes, paints,
and lighting were also selected and applied to enhance the ambiance of the work
environment. The polished appearance of the facility creates an interior scheme
that is appealing and engaging for the staff and clients.
By assessing the issues and limitations in this project, CDG was able to offer
Standley Office Systems a highly efficient design. It is a facility that is
client conscious and spatially practical for the staff. The new physical alterations,
in the interior space, subdue the existing religious details and transform it
into a resourceful, unique office.
