CAMERON MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS – DUNCAN, OK

Cameron Measurement Systems is an expanding company which lacked adequate space for their employees and manufacturing equipment. The company sought a solution that was cost efficient, functional, and fulfilled their special needs. Cavin Design Group proposed a plan that included a more impressive entrance, utilization of the existing building in its fullest potential, and additional parking.

CDG began with assessing the required needs of the company to produce an appropriate floor plan and site layout. For the entry, CDG designed a curved wall consisting of architectural metal panels featuring the company’s signature logo and name. In-between and behind this industrial styled facade is spandrel glass forming the lobby and reception area, which is highlighted by the scooped clerestory above. This central location is the connection between the existing office building to the new addition. This expansion allows CDG to reconfigure the spatial layout of the offices to enhance circulation, accessibility, and organization. The manufacturing department layout was also modified. It was expanded to offer more equipment space, a docking area, restrooms, offices, break room, storm shelter, and storage. Additional parking is conveniently situated by the existing side of the complex. This allows employees available access to various private entries.

The services provided for Cameron Measurement Systems are catered to their specific needs. The new design is accommodating and architecturally revives the appearance of the building with a unique entrance and addition.
