CDG is a full service architectural firm. We specialize in a variety of design fields that include civic, education, financial institutions, historical preservation, medical, residential, spiritual, industrial manufacturing and commercial. Our growing portfolio reflects the scope and variety of experience CDG has to offer and the level of commitment we provide for every project and client.

Located along historic Automobile Alley, in Oklahoma City, Cavin Design Group maintains a firm legacy that extends back to the 1950’s. Mr. Cavin, an AIA and NCARB member, began his architectural career in 1970 working for Mr. Leslie G. Brauer, Architect, who had established his practice in Chickasha in 1954. They then formed Brauer and Cavin Architects in 1977. After Mr. Brauer’s passing in 1980, Richard L. Cavin, Architect, P.C. was formed and eventually evolved into the current firm Cavin Design Group. In 2003, the firm moved to Sixth and Broadway in downtown Oklahoma City to provide a more accessible location for clients.

As our firm grows. so does our reach to the people we serve. In addition to our Oklahoma City location, we have opened an office in Tulsa to better serve more of our great state. With the new location, we have expanded the scope of our services. Our Tulsa office activites are directed by David James, who has extensive architecture and construction experience. We now provide full range design, furnishing, and construction services.
